Switching Gears

Switching gears is a good read because it has a lot of action, but could have had more details. This book is the best one of any transformer book that I have ever read. Sam Witwicky is not mentioned in the book but is replaced by Kevin Bowman, a kid with only his brother. Characters in the book are Porter Douglas, Kevin, his brother, Bumblebee, Rachet, Ironhide, Bombshot, Dropshot, Tracer, Optimus Prime, Gears, Reverb, and some military captains.

My favorite part was when Gears and Reverb land on earth and Gears encounters and meets, Gears, an Autobot. Soon after, Reverb lands on earth and there is a big fight and Gears escapes. Kevin and Gears find what the Autobots are looking for, but Reverb ambushes them and Gears is injured. Optimus, Ironhide, Bumblebee, and Rachet all attack Reverb but with the ancient shield generator he has just found, Reverb the Decepticon defeats all. Then, Kevin comes with the idea to produce a hologram of a dead Autobot. Reverb is tricked, and then Gears destroys his shield generator. Reverb is defeated, and they capture him. I rate it 4.5 stars our of 5 stars.
