The Fall

I rate The Fall, the first book of The Seventh Tower 5 stars because of its actions. One of the two action filled parts is when Tal gets the Idea to steal a Sunstone from one of the towers, an idea from his “crazy” uncle Ebbitt as he attempts to get a Sunstone for the day of Ascension so he can get a cure for his mom. However, when he attempts to get the Sunstone, a spirit shadow attacks him by turning into a monster and eating Tal’s shadowguard. Tal, the main character and his shadowguard are forced to flee. As he runs away, he meets the Icecarls, and is captured captive and is forced to get a Sunstone for them, sooner or later, with an Icecarl companion, Milla.

Also, another one of the suspenseful parts is when Mikla and Tal start fighting the Merwin, a giant monster with a giant horn. Tal defeats the monster by shooting a beam of light from his Sunstone into its eye. Mill a suddenly stands up and fights the Merwin. they defeat the Merwin but Milla is badly injured. Tal encounters more Icecarls and they tell him that the Castle that Tal is from is in 3 sleeps. Then, as they get onto the sleigh, the book ends. Those are the two action filled parts in The Fall.
